MURTI POOJA (ONE MORE PERSPECTIVE)

A.   At times of important celebrations; we frequently observe, somebody is requested to be present, with a statement; “Even if you don’t contribute,
your presence will make the difference”.

B.   In every house we see photographs/paintings hanging, of parted ancestors.

C.    In offices we see photographs/paintings hanging, of founder of the organisation.

D.   In public offices photographs/paintings of head of state (In India of
     Mahatma Gandhi).

E.   People visit the temple when in certain difficulty or problem. Otherwise
Also, some visit temple regularly.

Let us analyse how and why:
·       In case of point A
In particular people’s presence, workers/operators know very well; this
person’s character & characteristics
1.    His way of thinking.
2.    His way of handling the job.
3.    His reaction upon certain situation.
4.    How will he execute a certain job?
5.    What will he approve or disapprove.
6.    What will be his reaction upon, working or behaviour of workers?
7.    His capacity of handling the subject; when the things are not
going right or getting spoiled.
8.    He is always available to rectify; otherwise also for advice, on
method of execution.
9.    If something goes wrong, how to rectify/handle the situation.

·       In case of points B, C and D (either person is dead or not accessible);
points 1-6 stand true; excluding they cannot execute the job themselves.

·       Point E requires a little more elaboration:

My one friend, used to stay in each class at least 3 years. He had
a conception that the books are full of knowledge & emit (radiate) rays
of knowledge. With this conception, he used to sleep keeping the
books under his head (below pillow) presuming the waves of knowledge
emitted by books will go in his brain, in turn his brain will be filled
with knowledge.

Let us understand this in a different way. The voice/picture waves are
emitted in universe by radio/TV stations. They are present around us all
the time, but cannot be heard/seen. For reception of radio/TV signals
Transducers (equipment) are required i.e. a radio/TV.

I regret to state, the way we do idol worshiping is same.

My perspective is, if some one is siddha [learned]  of
-      SARASWATI, i.e. expert with pen, defines the subject in writing
-       VISHVAKARMA, i.e. expert with chisel & hammer [carving]; he
defines the subject carving a scripture or making an idol.

Let us analyse a few idols:
·       Lord JAGANNATH
JAGARNAUGHT is the name given to Lord JAGANNATH describing his
only one phase of power “OMNIPOTENT”.  i. e. He can execute any job.

okculpture of Lord JAGANNATH is nearest to the features of GOD.

No one can describe ‘How He (GOD) looks’
Keeping in mind the creator of sculpture (keeping the limitations
Of self & art) made, such a way; no one can describe his face.

Lord JAGANNATH is OMNICIENT; he has very big eyes, but without
eye-lids, as he never sleep so does not require the same.

Lord JAGANNATH is OMNIPOTENT. Every happening in this universe
is as he wishes, but he has no hand. He do not do anything by his own hands.
The universe moves upon his thinking/direction only.

Lord JAGANNATH is OMNIPRESENT. He is present everywhere, so he do
not require to move; so what for he requires legs.

With the limited knowledge I have, I understand the following Deites indicate:

·       Deity GANA-PATI
GANA-PATI          Leader/Captain of GANA [member of a team]
Or VINAYAK         Leader

Let us analyze an idol of GANA-PATI; indicating the [qualities required in leader]

He is very heavy              He should not move around much.
He should be available at his office at all times

He stomach is very big    He should digest all observations, i.e. not spill out
                                        verbally

His mouth is not visible   He should speak least

His eyes are very small    He should not believe what is visible

He has very big ears        He should listen to all, being talked around

He has a very long           He must have good smelling power of surrounding
Nose  (Trunk)                  indicating he should have sixth sense (instinct)

He has very big tusks      He has to create an aura around of presence

His carrier is mouse        He should not move much & should not go long distance

His one tusk is broken     He is always to keep in mind, there is better manager available, so he should be cautious

It indicates the qualities required in a leader. (Elaborated above)
One of the main freedom fighters Bal Ganga Dhar Tilak, picked
Lord GANESH from Indore & made him popular in Pune & Mumbai;
the commercial centres of India. It proved a salient feature in
achieving the freedom of India (By uniting the public under one banner).

·       Deity HANUUMAN
Indicate the qualities required in a student or a person interested to learn (irrespective of subject). As his name indicates, HANU-MAN (twisted chin). It happened while interacting with SUN; i.e. experimenting even in very difficult situations.
One of his names is BAJARANG-BALI. To my understanding, it does
not describe any of his characters. Actual name is VAJRA-ANG BALI.
Hence this should be pronounced VAJRAANG-BALI.

·       Deity DURGA
Represent the power of women. How can she keep the house in order
and kill the Mahishasur present in male mind, personality & body.

·       Lord VISHNU
Represent the quality of tolerance; in turn he achieved the position of GOD

NEW YEAR - RESOLUTION

A.NEW YEAR
WESTERN SYSTEM (SOLAR)
·       Gregorian calendar                    [ New year falls on January 01 ]
·       Financial calendar                      [ New year falls on April 01 ]

ISLAMIC CALANDER (LUNAR)           [ New year falls on Moharram 01 ]

INDIAN SYSTEM
Let us find out first, how many calendars are followed in India.

1.    There are two types of calendar         SOLAR & LUNAR
The main difference between the two is
Solar calendar consisting of       365 days
Lunar calendar consisting          of       355 days (approximate)

2.    Then there are regional calendars following Solar & Lunar systems
Panjabi calendar
         Tamil calendar,
         Telugu calendar,
         Kannada calendar,
And many more

3.    Indian national calendar (solar; gregorian)
Which is followed in Delhi, Uttar Pradesh, Madhya Pradesh & Bihar, as basic official calendar.
For rest of India, apart from regional solar calendars, Indian national calendar is followed, for all national & international references.

As there are two calendars (Solar & Lunar); they require to be synchronized.
For that, in every three/four years an extra month is added; in Hindi language this month is called ADHIK-MASS or PURUSHOTTAM-MASS.  In this month only important dates are of birth & death, as they are out of control of man. There no social or religious celebrations in this month.

Complete extra month is passed, only worshipping GOD different ways.

“Most of the Sanatani calendars are inherited from a system first enunciated
in Vedāga Jyotia's of Lagadha, a late BCE adjunct to the Veda-s,
standardized in the Sūrya Siddhānta (3rd century CE) and subsequently
reformed by astronomers such as Āryabhaṭṭa (499 CE), Varāhamihira
(6th c. CE), and Bhāskara II (12th c. CE). Differences and regional variations
abound in these computations, but the following is a general overview of Sanatani lunisolar calendar. It also varies from region to region.”
…Courtesy Wikipeidia
Like Gregorian calendar, there are two Solar Calendars in India
·       Started by Raja Vikramaditya, Current Vikrami Samvat 2069;
o    56 years older than Gregorian calendar ]
·       Started by Raja Shaka. Current Shaka Samvat 1934;
o    79 years younger than Gregorian calendar ]
There is one more Solar calendar indicating; Starting of KALI-YUG (Next day after LORD KRISHNA died) started…… days back (on January 12, 2013).

B.RESOLUTION
Resolutions can be defined as promises made to self and for oneself.  We know very well that the promises are made to be broken. They become more fragile, when there is no evidence.

In turn by taking resolutions (not publicly), does nothing except killing ones WILL POWER.

Hence in my opinion “New Year Resolution” is only MORAL SUICIDE.

Note: I used to smoke 60-cigarettes a day; left it on my (personal new year) birth day (October 02, 1983). 30 years back & have not taken even a single puff since then.

NIRBHAYA, DAMINI, AMANAT (The rape cases)

To express my opinion, I shall have to start from the day of independence.
August 15, 1947.

At the time of independence power was transferred from British rulers to Indian freedom fighters. Within next ten years the power was transferred to professional politicians.

To elaborate the term “professional” (in professional politician); anybody enters in any profession to earn money, required to live in luxury & power.

On other hand beaurocrates & police kept on performing their duties, as they were, doing under British rule, maintaining the same relation with public (Slave Indian) i.e. to control the public, not to serve/help them. They are still performing the same with additional responsibility of training the politicians to work as British (rulers) not as ministers

As per dictionary, word MINISTER means SERVANT (not ruler). An honest politician should be a social servant.

There are only two independent bodies in India.
·       Election Commission (which is formed after independence)
·       Judiciary - as judges are not guided by system. Still there are some limitations as the lawyers are from the same (pre-independence) faculty.

Coming to the subject
·       We cannot depend on police as they are working to control public (slave Indian).
·       Politicians also cannot be considered as they are very honest to their profession & performing it well. There would be parties, who would like to abstain on the subject, if not vote against it.
·       Election commission’s limits are - can only DISQUALIFY ALL THE ELECTION CONTESTANTS CHARGED OF RAPE CASES.
·       The only body, which can do something about this, is court -
1.    Should have telephone number to register the complaint
2.    Send his representative to register the details
3.    Should ask the police (or any other body formed in India after independence) to arrest the culprits & file the case in court.

We cannot depend on parliament, as most of the members are charged with SMALL CRIME like rape; hence court is the only system, which can form an independent body (similar to Election commission) working like C.B.I. but not reporting to parliament.

This way, the court shall maintain the status like JAGAN-NATH (Juggernaut); doing everything without doing anything.

Note : When we accept children as genius, why not a minor can be prosecuted for
an active adult crime like rape.
