RING THE BELL

As we are told, Santa Clause starts with RINGING THE BELL when distributing the presents.

Santa Clause is a mythical character; hence we can theorize some genius composed this phrase, to pass on the massage of
“Keep on developing and contributing to the community (world)”

With my limited knowledge, some of the most salient instances of Ringing the Bell in India are as under.

Case before advent of Santa Clause
VED VYAS (about 1,200 BC) In his epic SRIMAD BHAGWAT from the mouth of Lord Krishna he preached: The first and best book on motivation SRIMAD BHAGWAT GEETA. This way he did Ring The Bell very loud. Still after about 3200 years, it is echoing in ears of every follower of Sanatan Dharma.
NARENDRA MODI (Prime Minister) found a copy of
SRIMAD BHAGWAT GEETA a suitable present for
BARAK OBAMA (President of America).

Cases after advent Santa Clause but before his reaching to India
ARYABHATTA (478 AD) did Ring The Bell loudest, worked on Astronomy and mathematics.
He introduced number ZERO to the Arab world. Rest of the world understood it from them (the Arabs), as they were the link between East and West.
Latin numbering system existing at that time in Western and Arab word did not have ZERO. Hence mathematics was limited to simple addition and subtraction only. No multiplication or division could be performed, forget other complicated functions of Mathematics.

Development of modern civilization started with introduction of ZERO in mathematics. Most of development of this world, in last 600 years happened in West only. Take any subject, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, Astronomy, Computer, Space technology, or any other facility. In the absence of ZERO, no modern system would have existed in this world.

It will not be out of place to tell, the most of world including, even some Indian historians, think ARYABHATT invented the ZERO. The fact is ZERO is existing in Indian culture and Mathematics since the time of Vedas. The first one, Wrig Veda starts with prayer of GOD calling COMPLETE or ZERO.
-       Please refer blog ZERO for additional information.

Aadi Shankaracharya (788 AD) did Ring The Bell and revived the oldest culture Sanatan Dharma, trapped in hands of fanatic Buddhists. ( Not Buddha).

Let us analyse process of freedom of India. How and who did Ring The Bell and how it worked and effected.

GOPAL KRISHNA GOKHALE, one of the first and most important freedom fighters of modern India (after Tipu Sultan); did lots of works. He did Ring The Bell by bringing the idol of LORD GANESH the deity to Pune and Mumbai from Indore. In turn united the people of Saorashtra, which was required most, for achieving freedom. This way he prepared the citizens of India for the purpose.

MOHAN DAS KARAM CHAND GANDHI did Ring The Bell of uniting the whole India; carrying forward the plan of GOKHALE. He took up the project named DANDI MARCH. He planned this for a long time. Expediently he executed several smaller projects at different places of different shades.
The DANDI MARCH project was just a token of breaking
of a Small but basic SALT LAW of the British Empire.
Actual purpose was to unite the people of India.

Note:
Under the SALT LAW, salt could not be harvested and traded in India of (Indian origin). The requirement of this law was for a funny reason.
British were carrying items (loot) from India but had nothing
to bring back from England. Transporting empty ship was uneconomical
as well as empty ship used to get imbalanced in the sea. To take care of this, the British restricted harvesting of SALT in India and started importing from England. To create requirement of British salt in India, they banned harvesting and trading salt in India permitting trading of British salt only. The cost of salt included production cost in England + Shipment + Profits.

The salt was so costly; an idiom was phrased in India; if one spills the salt then he has to pick it up by eye lids in other world.

SARDAR VALLABH BHAI PATAL did Ring The Bell by uniting the small Rajas and Navabs (Kings), and making an exemplary INDIA. British did not leave the Indian subcontinent in present shape, they made all the Rajas and Navabs of India free (about 682 big and small estates). GANDHI got independence for all the estates, but SARDAR PATEL built the INDIA of today, bringing all the estates together under one flag. This Herculean task he did in a very small period of one and a half year only, making INDIA biggest and largest democracy of the world.

DR. RAJENDRA PRASAD did Ring The Bell silently performing very important jobs. The most important of it was composing THE CONSTITUTION OF INDIA, without which India would have never been, as it is today. Everyone acknowledges constitution of India is the best in world and takes care of every citizen. One very salient feature of this constitution is “Equal rights to male and female in every face of life.” Indian constitution was the first to adopt this feature in this world.

SHESH-NAG

(THE THRONE OF VISHNU)

As per VEDAS, SHRI-MAD-BHAGWAT and other mythological literature the creation, management and destruction of the universe is work of GOD. The items present in it live as well as without life, are managed by him only.

In Indian mythology our thinkers have distributed the work of GOD in three facalities.

1.     Creation                 by BRAMHA
It includes the creation of life and other objects in it.
2.    Management           by VISHNU
It includes arranging feeding and surviving conditions.
3.    Destruction           by MAHESH
It includes destruction of all items with age.

The only facilities available were time and space. It is not explained yet, WHO created them. We may consider GOD himself has created them. In GEETA, HE says “I am bound with TIME in this world”. If HE has created the TIME; how can he be bound with it? Again we find HE never defies any doctrine devised by SELF (elaborated in PHYSICS).

Coming back to subject, in the pictures we find VISHNU lying on bed (shaiya) formed by coiling of the SHESH-NAG; LAXMI sitting near his feet.

If we try to understand the picture; which is symbolic
1.     VISHNU,               Himself: depicted as man; as the picture is created by
a MAN, the (indicating he is most intelligent, so VISHNU also like him).
2.    LAXMI                   The prosperity or assets (being female shown as lady)
                               required to manage the show.
3.    SHESH-NAG          the GALAXY (spiral shaped).
Now the question is when the Indian mythologists decided the universe is spiral shaped.

Modern astronomy has found out this fact in later half of 20th century only

KANYA KUMARI

We call it in English CAPE KAMORIN.

As evident from the name it southern tip of India located in Tamilnadu.

There the monument of Swami Vivekanand is located in the sea, on a rock called VIVEKANAND ROCK>

History of this rock is Swami Vivekanand swam to this rock and meditated here seven days.

Other attraction of this place is temple of KANYA KUMARI (Vergin Girl).

The idol of of this girl has got DIAMOND on her nose.

Originally this idol of girl with diamond on her nose was a light house without light.

The ships could visualize presence of land only by refraction/reflection of light from diamond of her nose. Source of light used to be, the light of travelling ship/boat.

With the development of technology it became redundant.

Further due to fear of invasion (as usual in India) ; they built a small temple around it, to protect the diamond, in turn the monument.

PRINCESS Vs. QUEEN

In this age of democracy words King, Queen, Prince and Princess have become redundant.

According to Farookh the last king of Egypt “One day only five king will be left one in England and rest four in pair of cards”.

Let us look into the subject with a different perspective. Every house is a kingdom, with its’ own rules, regulation & norms rather constitution.
Here rules of Democracy do not apply.
Usually it is governed by Monocracy (Including a “she” Supreme).
There is head of the house (motorcade). He may have advisors (ministers) from the list of decedents and their spouses.

The subject of emphasis over here is
·       Daughters of the house are princesses
·       Brides, house wives are queens (in making).

Every girl, daughter, sister is a princess, in her parents’ house.

The same way every bride, wife is queen of the house of in-laws. May she be a queen, mother queen, grand-mother queen or queen in making (would be queen.

A daughter has lots of privileges but fewer rights. She carries lesser social
 bindings also.

Whereas bride has lots of rights but fewer privileges. She has also more social bindings.

Due to circumstances, natural or circumstantial, if above norms are broken. This leads to disharmony and discord only, in the family.

If the head of the family does not take care of above; he is breeding a big explosion. Some time the epicenter is shifted, but ultimately results into several explosions instead of one.

Then there is nothing left, except repenting.

SECULAR INDIA

We common Indians know and claim; WE ARE SECULAR AND WE ARE PARTS OF THE BIGGEST SECULAR SYSTEM.

To make us secular our history is twisted by a Buddhist; Dr. Bhim Rao Ambedkar. He imposed Buddhist symbols, using the name of first emperor ASHOK who was a Buddhist.

In turn Lord Buddha was degraded in the name of a Buddhist emperor courtesy Dr. Bhim Rao Ambedkar.

Our Indian secular national flag (EMBLEM OF SECULAR INDIA) carries a wheel with twentyfour spokes named ASHOK CHAKRA.

History of wheel (Chakra)
According to Sanatan Dharm (Hindu religion), Puranas mention that twentyfour Rishis wielded the whole power of the Gayatri Mantra. These twentyfour rishis in Himalayas are represented through the twentyfour letters of Gayatri Mantra. The twentyfour spokes of Dharma Chakra are representation of all these twentyfour rishis in which Vishvamitra is first and Yajnavalkya is last, who governs the religion (Dharma).

This Chakra is symbol of Dharma chakra and also known as Samay Chakra in twentyfour spokes represent the twentyfour hours of a day and symbol of the movement of the time.

When Buddha achieved nirvana (Enlightenment) at Gaya; he came to Sarnath (on the outskirts of Varanasi). There He found his five disciples (panch vargiya Bhikshu) Ashwajeet, Mahanaam, Kaundinya, Bhadrak and Kashyap, who had earlier abandoned him.

He preached his first sermon to them, thereby promulgating Dharma chakra. This is the motif taken up by Ashok and portrayed on top of his pillars. This is the origin of the Chakra in the Indian flag and it asserts the strong ties of India with the Buddhist faith.

It is also known as Bhava chakra. The twelve out of twentyfour spokes represent the twelve causal links taught by The Buddha.

The twelve causal links, paired with their corresponding symbols, are:
1.     Avidyā          lack of knowledge - a blind person, often walking, or a person
peering out
2.    Sanskāra      constructive volitional activity - a potter shaping a vessel or
Vessels
3.    Vijñāna         consciousness - a man or a monkey grasping a fruit
4.    Nāmarūpa     name and form (constituent elements of mental and physical
existence) - two men afloat in a boat
5.    Ṣaḍāyatana   six senses (eye, ear, nose, tongue, body, and mind) - a
dwelling with six windows
6.    Sparśa         contact - lovers consorting, kissing, or entwined
7.    Vedanā         pain - an arrow to the eye
8.    Trishna        thirst - a drinker receiving drink
9.    Upādāna       grasping[1] - a man or a monkey picking fruit
10. Bhava           coming to be - a couple engaged in intercourse, a standing,
leaping or reflective person
11. Jāti              being born - woman giving birth
12. Jarāmarana old age[2] and death[3] - corpse being carried

These twelve in reverse represent a total twentyfour spokes representing the Life-The Dhamma (Pali laguage).

twentyfour Spokes of Ashok Chakra according Hindu religion:
1.     Love
2.    Courage
3.    Patience
4.    Peacefulness
5.    Magnanimity
6.    Goodness
7.    Faithfulness
8.    Gentleness
9.    Selflessness
10. Self-Control
11.  Self Sacrifice
12. Truthfulness
13. Righteousness
14. Justice
15. Mercy
16. Gracefulness
17. Humility
18. Empathy
19. Sympathy
20.Spiritual Knowledge
21. Moral Values
22.Spiritual Wisdom
23.The Fear of God
24.Faith or Belief or Hope

All documents originated from offices of Government of India carry an emblem GROUP OF FOUR LIONS named as ASHOK KI LATH

Group of four lions sitting back to back on a pillar:
The group of four lions sitting back to back jointly symbolize preaching of 'The Four Noble Truths' of Buddhism to all; those that emphasize the Middle Path. The symbol U with a vertical line placed symmetrically inside it symbolizes 'The Middle Path'. The Middle Path is the fundamental philosophy of Buddhism, the Buddhist (Bauddha) Dharma.

Now we have TO decide how much secular we are.

UNIQUE BARGAIN

There is a couplet (sher) of Ghalib:
                    Kya khoob sauda ishq ka,
Is  hath  de  us  hath  le.

Literal translation in English
What a special bargain of love (affection).
Pay by this hand and take from the other

If Ghalib means something to the person, he is forced to ponder what is special in this couplet.

Under the regime of Indian National Congress, it had no meaning but in general:

The system of the market is, first you take the merchandise, then pay for it.

But if you are looking for love or affection you have to pay (love) first then only it will be reciprocated (given).

BACK SACK

This unique invention/arrangement of BACK SACK is most convenient one for the user, at the same time most inconvenient to others nearby.

Nowadays everybody is carrying his stuff on his back, in a back sack. Off course it is very easy & convenient. It makes charring very easy as well as convenient. One does not feel the weight very much due to its placing on the back. The feeling of load is reduced to almost negligible; at the same both the hands become free to attend other chaos.

It is very inconvenient to the nearby person, as the carrier does not realize the dimensions of his body are quite reasonably increased. But the feelings of the person are of original size.

In turn his brain considering the basic size manipulates movements, but the actual size is increased quite allot in width. He is not able to realise the problem of other, as the back sack has no sensation. So he remains indifferent and that harts the sufferer more mentally than physically.

Hence his presence becomes most inconvenient to others especially in congested or organised places like in queues, buses, or lifts.

DIABETES

The most common disease on date is diabetes.

It is decided it has very little to do with eating habits. It is more of a genetic problem.

I am going to tell you a very simple solution to control it.

It looks like a very funny and unnatural solution; as I am going to recommend to consume a very sweet fruit.

No allopath doctor is going to recommend that. Rather he shall laugh.

But to try it for a week will not harm you, and you can see the result yourself.

Take two dates after lunch and two after dinner. See the results.

Otherwise also it is not going to harm; as it does not contain sucrose.

It contains fructose and to digest it, one does not require pancreas.

Please note it is a control only. Do not stop medication.

I am not sure it is a cure or not; but my insulin intake is decreased reasonably.

But Arabs have maximum percentage of diabetics. Most of them are Muslims and usually start their day with dates, Prophet Mohammad.

MOTHER’S DAY

A soul destined to migrate to earth in human body, went around on survey.

After studies and making observations; the soul went to God and asked “How shall I survive in that crooked world?”

God asked him to peep down, indicated to a pregnant lady; and told “I am already there with you in form of your MOTHER.”

Christ could exist without a father, but he still required a MOTHER.

Napoleon has said “GIVE ME GOOD MOTHERS, I WILL GIVE YOU A GOOD NATION”

If we are atheist; we do not require God to help us.
MOTHER is the only person with account books of one accounting column only i.e. DEBIT. To elaborate everyone has two columns for accounting DEBIT and CREDIT. But the MOTHER has one column only.

To pay back there is only one way, i.e. Worshiping. That also she does not expect.

She likes to be MOTHER and MOTHER only; not GODDESS.

One thing unique and very special about her “SHE KNOWS EVERYTHING ABOUT US; BUT WE KNOW ALMOST NOTHING ABOUT HER. STILL WHHATEVER WE DO FOR HER, SHE LIKES”.
