What the media tells & what we understand out of it.

Most of them, tell us forecast of the day, week or month. The predictions depend upon; at time of our birth sun was traveling through which Zodiac constellation. [Based on western system of astrology.]

Talking of their authenticity, It may be observed
• One TV channel tells Zodiac signs same, for Western system as well as Indian system. That means Sun & Moon pass together through one Zodiac constellation in the same time & period.

• Other TV channel translates Rahu [Umbra] & ketu [Penumbra] precisely Shadows not planets, to Uranus & Neptune [Planets very small & at quite a big distance] having no significance in Western as well as Indian astrology system

About 245 Persons are born every minute, in tern 245 x 60 x 24 x 30 = 10,584,000 in 30 days.

If we consider average age of man 60 years, then people alive born in same constellation are 10,584,000 x 60 = 63,50,40,000 Nos.

How can all the people [63,50,40,000 Nos.] born under same constellation have the same forecast everyday.

To decide fore cast of a person, for a particular period, following are the required variables
1. At the time of birth
• Placing of all the planets not only Sun or Moon in particular Constellation/ Nakshatra.
• Relations of the planets with the constellation/Nakshatra they are sitting in.
• Relations of each planet along with constellation of their placement, with other planets depending upon in which constellation/Nakshatra they are sitting in.
• More precisely effects of no planet can be decided without considering where they are placed.

2. On the date of prediction, all combinations defined above.

HOROSCOPE
• Western system
Zodiac sign [Rashi] of a person, is decided upon; Sun was traveling through which Zodiac constellation; at the time of his birth [as per Gregorian calendar]. This appears as lagna in Indian system.

Chart is prepared for detailed study placing other planets also. i. e. Moon [Chandra], Mars [Mangal], Mercury [Buddha], Jupiter [BrispatI], Venus [Shukra] & Saturn [Shani].

Each planet is placed in the chart, in the house of particular constellation; it was passing through at the time of birth.

The predictions by media does not refer to any other planet, chart, or analysis detailed above, hence its does not carry any authenticity.

Sun travels through one Zodiac constellation in 30 days.

NOTE: The period of Zodiac signs is already changed due to motion of Solar system with respect to Zodiac constellations.

• Chinese system
Zodiac sign is decided similar to western system. They have classification for year of birth also. To discuss the details my knowledge is very limited.

• Indian system
Zodiac sign [Rashi] of a person, is decided upon; Moon [ Not Sun as in Western system] was traveling through which Nakshatra/Zodiac constellation; at the time of his birth. As per EPHEMERIS [PANCHANG]1.

Chart is prepared for detailed study placing other planets also. i. e. Sun [Surya], Mars [Mangal], Mercury [Buddha], Jupiter [BrispatI], Venus [Shukra] & Saturn [Shani], Umbra [RAhu] & Penumbra [Ketu].

While placing the planets in chart, one has to know precise longitude of place of birth.

Talking of precision, with every degree of changing position of planet, the predictions are changed.

Moon travels through one Zodiac constellation in 2 day 06 hrs [54 hrs].

The dates & places of planets are decided by EPHEMERIS [PANCHANG] Indian calendar.

In Indian horoscope system:
- Apart from seven planets, Umbra [RAhu] & Penumbra [Ketu] are added.
- Division of houses by 12 constellations is changed to 27 NAKSHATRAS.

There are 27 Nakshatras where as Zodiac constellations are 12; in turn the chart becomes more precise. There is no other difference in effect, as there is no relative movement between the two [Nakshatras & Zodiac constellations].

NOTE: The zodiac sign as per western system is ascendant [Lagna] in Indian system.

It should not be interpreted Indian system is more precise. Approximate one year is complete cycle, for Sun as well Moon traveling through complete cycle of Solar system & all Zodiac constellations, sun or moon both stay equally in each constellation, in the range of complete cycle.

In approximate one year:
• Sun stays in one constellation for 30 days one time
• Moon 2 day 06 hrs [54 hrs.] 13.33 times.


To reach to right prediction following are the variables:
• Placing of all the planets
Sun [Surya], Moon [Chandra], Mars [Mangal], Mercury [Buddha], Jupiter [brispati], Venus [Shukra], Saturn [Shani], Umbra [RAhu] & Penumbra [Ketu].
• Relation of the planet with the lord of house
Each planet is placed in which constellation [house].
• A favorable plant in his enemy house cannot give favorable effect.
• At the same time an unfavorable planet in enemy house will give favorable effect.
• For the period of particular prediction, position of planets at that time as well as relation of planets & houses as per horoscope & that particular time named as Gochar.
• To visualize above all, is a bit complicated.

That is why the precise prediction of whole life cannot be done at a time.

Any astrologer does not have Panchang available for all the future years of life time. At the same time it is next to impossible refer all the Panchags even if available [for life time say 60 years]. So the precise prediction can be done maximum two/three years coming.

The prediction for whole life as well as salient points can be done in general only, as all planets trajectory is decided. But there are complications which cannot be calculated in advance.

The most common one is due to difference of speed of all planets, one planet starts moving backward in relation with other & the whole perspective is changed.
Relation of planets between each other, as well as their location, as the relative motions becomes retrograde.

This is not only the game the planets are playing.

Coming to history of this science it appears in VEDAS, Bhavishya Puran & very well elaborated by Bhrigu in Bhrigu samhita.

It will not be out of place to tell a small storey:
Once Brigu maharaj upset on Lord Vishnu, went to his place & kicked him on the chest. Lord Vishnu full of positive charge did not get upset & held the feet of Brigu maharaj, started asking him, hope your foot is not hurt. But his Wife Laxmi could not tolerate & cursed Brigu maharaj, you & your decedents, will have to always beg, to make your living. By that time surge of anger was gone & Brigu maharaj apologizing said; Mother what ever you have said shall come true, but I will develop some system, so my decedents will not have to go out to beg. People will be obliged to come to them & offer elms. Then he wrote the book Brigu samhita.

But the whole knowledge is almost lost due to
• In Indian system jotting down did not exist.3
• Patronizing the knowledge by pundits, teaching it to their decedents only, not the intelligent deserving ones.

REMARKS:
WE ARE LOOSING OUR CONFIDENCE IN THIS SUCH A PRECISE SCIENCE.
• Every other person claims to be master of the subject & does not understand even all the facets, aspects & limitations.
• Media announcing same forecast for 10 million x 60 [years] people every day.
There are some propagating same Zodiac sign as per western as well as Indian system.
• As they are using western system & it does not have Umbra [Rahu] & Penumbra [Ketu]. Mixing the effects of Indian system they are calling them Uranus & Neptune.
• Looking at all above how many people can have similar forecast. Only born on same longitude, as most informative calendar the EPHEMERIS [PANCHANG] talks of only of longitude.
• No system talks of latitude & altitude.
• We very well know people living at poles & know their life style also, as the effect of constellations gets mixed due to small amplitude [on the poles Zero]
• On higher amplitude also the effects are almost similar [but no analysis].

Each Nakshatra is not 360/27 = 13.330 .

WE CAN VERY WELL THEORIES NO CALENDAR ANALYZES LATITUDE & ALTITUDE. SO THE HOROSCOPE RESULTS CANNOT BE TRUE ALL THE TIME [AT LEAST FOR PEOPLE LIVING NEAR POLES OR ON HIGH ALTITUDES].
