REFUSING HOSPITALITY

We all know the hospitality of SHABRI offered to RAM during his VANWAS

She offered tasted [BER} jujubes to RAM & LAXMAN

Most of us, do not know, LAXMAN did not eat the jujubes & threw them backwards hiding his act.

To know why he did that, we have to know a side storey

LAXMAN was incarnation of SHESH NAG ruler of PATAL.

He had taken this birth, to punish MEGHNATH [son of RAVANA]

Once MEGHNATH attacked PATAL & kidnapped; SULOCHANA daughter of SHESH NAG.

When SHESH NAG tried to save her; MEGHNATH laughed & said, “to think to fight with me, you should not eat, sleep & see the face of wife for 12 years”.

To fulfill all the conditions LAXMAN joined RAM during VANWAS. Not of any other reason of love or service of brother. He did not let URMILA [his wife} join him due to that only.

At the time RAM & LAXMAN visited SHABARI, the 12 year, period of pledge was about to finish.

That is why LAXMAN did not accept of offerings of SHABRI & threw away the jujubes.

The old lady SHABRI could not see, but RAM noticed the act of LAXMAN. Of course he knew the reason, still he did not accept the act of LAXMAN of refusing hospitality & cursed him only that jujube will save your life.

That was the SANJEEVANI BUTI which HANUMAN brought, when LAXMAN was struck by MEGHNATH during war.

This is the real moral of story [explaining the sin of not accepting hospitality].

Not what our Pandit jee tells us, RAM ate jujubes tasted by a lower cast women. As at that time classification of person was on his act, not on parents. This venom was injected into our society, much later by our so called Brahmins.

It will not be out of place, to remind LAXMAN killed MEGHNATH while he was performing YAGYA [which is very immoral]. But if MEGHNATH would have completed that YAGYA he would have also become immortal like his father. Only God knows how he would have got MUKTI after that & would have been stuck to this world like his father.
We all know how great he was, but never use his name in good reference & worship RAM who killed him using all immoral ways.
