RAVANA & KUMBHAKARAN are originally guards [JAYA & VIJAY] of bhagwan VISHNUS’ chamber.

JAYA & VIJAY were performing their duties very strictly & did not permit, [SANAD & SANADAN]; to enter without permission.
SO JAYA & VIJAY were thrown to earth; by SANAD & SANADAN.

ABOUT RAVANA
• In particular birth he was son of PULATSYA rishi.
• He was step brother of KUBER [treasurer of DEITY].
• He was so knowledgeable had jotted down all four VEDAS [basis of VAIDIC SANATAN DHARMA]
• He was so good engineer had manufactured the aero planes PUSHPAK VIMAN
• He must have had more aero planes as he had five runways including a workshop.
• He was a great doctor & had solutions even for air-sickness.
• He was a great ruler ; his subjects have mummified his body.

• In GEETA, LORD KRISHNA said “on this earth, even I am bound by the time” but RAVANA had controlled the time also.

THE INDIGESTIBLE DETAILS IN MYTHOLOGY
• He attended SWAYAMBER of SITA
SITA was of age of at least his grand daughter.
• It can be visualized this way
MEGHANATH, his son had brought SULOCHANA from PATAL & married her. She was daughter of SHESH NAG who appeared on earth as LAXMAN to kill MEGHANATH.
• RAVANA had only one wife MANDODARY & never married again.

Suppose we forget the above details & assume he went into SWAYAMBER of SITA
• He could not lift the bow [DHANUSH] of SHIVA, whereas he could carry the KAILASH PARVAT along with SHIVA, PARVATI & his whole team.

DESCRIPTION OF SITA HARAN
He took SITA to Lanka
• Never forced SITA to visit even, his palace.
• Kept her in ASHOK VAN [garden, an area open to all] with comforts like water supply with seven adjacent wells of different temperature.

• HANUMAN could reach her without any hindrance, now we have to visualize, she was kept as a prisoner or guest.
