In Indian eating system there is no classification of VEGETARIAN & NON-VEGETARIAN
Which VEGETARIAN does not
• Drink milk & use other milk products like yoghurt, butter
• Use honey
Which VEGETARIANS’ worship place does not have SHANKH [sea shell hone] A type of bone
Which VEGETARIANS’ mother does not use SEEP [mother of pearl] to peel the mango while preparing pickle A type of bone
Which VEGETARIAN lady does not use pearl in jewellery.
The first meal of a new born baby is milk of mother, again not VEGETARIAN.
No one can live without amino acid, one of the contents of protein, an animal product.
Lots of Europeans are converting VEGETARIANISM, hence they do not take milk of milk products & look at their condition.
Indian food is classified in three categories
• SATVIK simple non-spicy easily digestible food. e. g. milk, milk
products [excluding cheese], honey etc.
• RAJASI normal, less spicy food.
• TAMASI very spicy, not easily digestible food, beef & ham fall in this category.
